Fundraising Support Volunteers
Our fundraising group is known as the Friends of Banksia. Banksia endeavors to empower our Fundraising Support Volunteers to participate in the roles they enjoy more. For example, our Auction Night, Trivia Night , Street Stalls, Film Nights, Bikes rides and raffles are some of the activities arranged.
Our Fundraising Support Volunteers are assisted by our Community Liaison Coordinator and overseen by our Volunteer Coordinator. They attend a monthly meeting, where possible.
Our Fundraising Support Volunteers are an important means for Banksia to be able to create awareness.

Many of Banksia Volunteers attended a Morning Tea during the 2009 National Volunteer Week. Their commitment to Banksia was acknowledged, with a Certificate and a small gift of a banksia plant, being presented to each volunteer. |
