Volunteers are an integral part of the organisation. They assist in 4 major roles: Clinical visiting · Act as a non-medical support person and through visits, provide comfort and support to patients/families. · Act as a non-medical liaison with staff and team members, keeping team members informed of any patient/family concerns.
Support Volunteers
Administration Administration, printing, mail-outs and collating are just some of the essential help that our administration volunteers provide. If you are interested in becoming a support or administration volunteer please contact our Volunteer Co-Ordinator Jenny Skeels on jennys@banksiapalliative.com.au
Fundraising Our fundraising group is known as the Friends of Banksia. Banksia endeavors to empower our fundraising volunteers to participate in the roles they enjoy more. For example, out Auction Night, Trivia Night , Street Stalls, Film Nights, Bikes rides and raffles are some of the activities arranged. If you are interested in becoming a fundraising volunteer please contact our Community Development Manager Tim Paul on timp@banksiapalliative.com.au
